Kauai`s Best Shave Ice in Kauai

Above mediocre but not great. These haoli's who say shaved ice are morons. Definitly try the coconut flavor

If they say best. It's not. Hanalei shave ice next to bakery is best on the north shore.

Apathetic service, sub par shaved ice, wish we would have driven 5 more minutes to Hanelei instead.

The server had us wait in line, as the last people, once reaching the front of the line we were informed that we could not be served because she was closing. A respectful business would let us know prior to a long wait in line. I am sure making one more snow cone is not a hassle when the ice is still out. Additionally, there were 15 minutes left till closing time; however, she said she was done for the night. That is not how a proper business works. A closing hour is based on the formal time and it is highly disrespectful to send away waiting customers because of a personal decision to be done for the night. I firmly give this location one star.

Artificial-tasting and bright radioactive-looking syrups. Says made with only cane sugar. Tastes not that great.

Ice was hard, not enough syrup.... ordered a large and was way smaller than my sisters who also ordered a large... definitely not the best shave ice. Go to Jo Jo’s!

Great little place. The syrup seems to stay on the ice better then the others I've tried- instead of eventually having a bunch of juice at the bottom and only ice on top. Maybe because the ice is "fluffier" Delicious!

My one and only shave ice of the trip. It was yummy, but overpriced.

Apathetic help, middling flavors. Not a fan

My wife and I literally threw both of ours away after eating a few bites and went to get ice cream. Ice is coarse and the ice cream at the bottom was freezer burned. Syrup just tasted like sugar.

Totally in love with the mac-nut ice cream in the middle! Perfect.

Jojos is big, reasonably priced with lots of options. A winner.

Terrible shaved ice. I received my large shaved ice and it was already mostly melted. It was a slurpee. I asked them to add more shaved ice or do something and they did add some more ice to it but it was the same thing. Just a large bowl of syrup juice.Ugh terrible

Was always my favorite on the island, but no more... they stopped carrying root beer flavor!! What a disappointment I'll have to find a new place now...
